■ [ History ] :
        □ Kithood
Hazelkit and her brother, Snowkit, spent most of their early moons happily following their mother around. They were the heads of the hive; no new kittens were born until they were 3 months old at the least. However, they were kind
and compassionate individuals, and happily welcomed them into their tiny friend group. A group of about seven kittens now swamped the nursery; naturally, Hazelkit and Snowkit had all bragging rights for being the clan's oldest and, as
Snowkit liked to say, the strongest. They had the respect and admiration of their younger denmates. However, before Hazelkit and Snowkit could grow too aloof or bored with all of the praise, they were apprenticed and moved dens.

        □ Apprenticeship
The two siblings nervously went on to begin their days as apprentices. Eager to see everything their territory had to offer, they quickly grew to respect and note what their mentors had to say. The pair had been given two senior warriors
for mentors; Brackenstripe and Oaktail. Hazelpaw and Snowpaw thought very highly of themselves for having experienced mentors, but they were put in their places as moons grew into seasons. The two worked their very hardest at their
training. Snowpaw was exceptionally skilled in just about everything his mentor threw at him. He was apprenticed early at the age of eleven moons due to his talent. Jealous as she was, Hazelpaw was entirely supportive and overjoyed for
her brother and his success at becoming a warrior. Snowfeather was extremely humble about his early graduation, and treated his sister no differently than he had beforehand. They were without doubt an inseparable pair of friends. Hazelpaw
continued to work harder than ever at her training, and found that she was more gifted in battle than hunting. However, she did quite well on her overall assessment, and she was cheerfully named Hazelpelt in her warrior ceremony.

        □ Warriorhood & Deputy
Hazelpelt could've asked for no better experience than the freedom of a warrior. She happily fulfilled her duties as a junior warrior of ThunderClan. She spent most of her days out hunting and checking borders as assigned, and spent her evenings
with Snowfeather and their newest friend group. She gradually began to notice an affection growing between her brother and another she-cat called Shrewtail, whom she was on friendly terms with. It was later mentioned that the pair of cats
became mates, and she was content with the newest addition to her family tree. Shrewtail was a pretty young she-cat with a very attractive personality. It was no wonder Snowfeather had such a fond opinion of her. The two stayed mates
for many moons, but to some oddity never bore kittens. Hazelpelt didn't pry, as it was none of her business, but she needn't have. It was privately announced that the two were physically unable to reproduce due to Shrewtail being infertile.
Despite their heart-breaking news, the couple remained cheerful and just as loving as ever. Hazelpelt could only dream of a relationship as pure as the one her brother shared. Later on, she would be offered a similar scenario, but it was oh
so different. It didn't take Hazelpelt long to realize that she was not attracted to toms in the sense that most she-cats were. Instead, she found that her eyes only lingered on females; a particular female, to be exact. A friend of theirs had
caught her attention; she was a spunky and fun she-cat called Lilyfang. Though she feared rejection, Hazelpelt confessed to Lilyfang that she had been considering her romantically for quite some time now. To her surprise, Lilyfang implied
that she too had felt fondly of Hazelpelt for a while, and the two grew closer. Though their mateship was never officially announced, the couple was cheerfully acknowledged by their clanmates. Many moons down the road, Hazelpelt and her
brother's group of friends still remained. It consisted of both couples and a few other friendly cats that they knew from their days as kits. Most of them were now related to Hazelpelt or Snowfeather in some way, as most of them were
siblings or cousins. Despite the happy bliss of Hazelpelt's life, further obstacles were to challenge her, and sooner than she could've ever hoped for. Now a senior warrior, she was faced with a proposal. The clan's leader had recently lost his last
life, and the newest leader had approached her privately in hopes that she might become the clan's deputy. She might've suggested another warrior, but the leader insisted that he had faith she would be best fit. She quietly agreed, and kept
her clan in mind before anything else, even Lilyfang. When she approached her mate with this information, Lilyfang understood completely, and humbly ( though still with sadness ) called off their mateship so that Hazelpelt could focus more
on her new duties as Clan deputy. Things did not change much, but she certainly had less time to spend with her friends. She organized patrols, spoke strategically with the leader and his trusted senior warriors, and discussed other clan's affairs.
However, she was still lucky enough to have time to spare for her own pleasing. Life was generous, and she did not deny that she had things good. By this point in time, she had trained an apprentice called Hickorytail, and was given a second
apprenticed called Molepaw. He eventually graduated and became Moleheart. Many moons passed, and Hazelpelt was approaching 70 moons when the leader sadly passed away due to a bad case of whitecough. She was given her nine lives.

        □ Leader & Elder
After returning from her ceremony, Hazelstar called her first clan meeting to announce the new deputy, Cloudclaw. He was a brave and noble tom with a wise and confident personality; perfect for a leader. They shared a close trust and things
were well in ThunderClan. Her days as leader were prosperous and rather uneventful. That was, until clan conflicts arose. With battles between ShadowClan, she lost clanmates. She was amidst the battle when she witnessed a trio of ShadowClan
warriors team-tag Cloudclaw, and easily overpower and kill him. Infuriated by the loss, she struggled to keep her mind in tact. There was no time to wait. The battle took place at moonhigh, and all traditions say that a deputy must be named
before moonhigh after the deputy's death. So, she picked a young and loyal tom to succeed Cloudclaw as her deputy; Icestorm. He was, in her opinion, full of potential. After the battle was over, she gave him an official ceremony, and the two
quickly bonded over their loss. She aged on nevertheless, and within the next 3 years was ready to retire to the elder's den. She had full faith that Icestorm would make a fine leader, and saw to it that his nine-lives ceremony went as planned.
Hazelpelt now lives in ThunderClan as an old and wise elder. Snowfeather died many moons ago, and Shrewtail still serves as an honorable warrior to this very day. Since her days as an elder, she and Lilyfang have reunited in mateship once more.
